UiaML Core Properties
Explanation The associated link is an extension of the common link. The associated link is indicated by a dashed line that has a page as destination. The associated page will only be present when the common link is active. A typical application of the associated link is for instance the print process. When a user prints a page (the content of the associated page) the user navigates within the application window from one page to another. Another examples are mailing, which allows links hyper links with the rest of the site, or file exports. In case the associated page represents content that is meant to be shown in anther application window, for instance a popup, the associated link will not point to a page but toward a special sitemap symbol that we call popup. |
